As the days passed, the situation became increasingly dire. The water level in the cave was rising, and oxygen levels were dropping. The boys and their coach survived by drinking water dripping from the cave walls.

After being trapped for nine days, the team was finally found alive by British divers. However, the rescue operation was far from over. The divers had to navigate a perilous journey back through narrow, submerged passages. Each boy was sedated, fitted with a full-face diving mask, and escorted out by two divers.
